Orange Bay is a white sand beach on Giftun Island, a short boat ride from Hurghada's marina. This full day trip combines two snorkeling stops in the Red Sea with two hours of free time on the beach.
The boat picks you up at your hotel in the morning and takes you to the jetty for departure. From there it's about a 45 minute sail to the first reef, where you swim among coral and reef fish before continuing on to Orange Bay itself. The water near the shore is calm and shallow, which makes it an easy stop if you're traveling with kids, and there's a dedicated play area for them on the island.
After two hours on the sand, you're back on the boat for a second snorkeling stop. Lunch is served while you sail back toward Hurghada, and you're dropped at your hotel around 4pm.
A professional guide runs the trip and handles the snorkeling instruction, so it works whether you've snorkeled before or you're trying it for the first time. Snorkeling gear, drinks, and mineral water are included. Pickup from Makadi Bay, Sahl Hasheesh, Soma Bay, El Gouna, or Safaga can be added at booking.
